The Huaxing Enlight Venture Investment fund will invest in listed equities, convertible debt and in private companies, Enlight said in a regulatory filing. Target companies are expected to be in the Internet, high-tech and new media industries, and related cultural media industries.

The fund will be operated in partnership with fund management firm Hua Sheng Investment Management Center.

Enlight, which is also one of China’s top tier distributors, will itself put up $32.5 million (RMB200 million) into the fund.
