ABC Sets Premiere Date for ‘Toy Story OF TERROR!’

Disney-Pixar’s first TV special, “Toy Story of TERROR,” will be out just in time for pre-Halloween scares.

ABC announced today that it will air the special at 8 p.m. October 16.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will reprise their roles from the popular films, as will other “Toy Story” series stars Joan Cusack, Timothy Dalton, Don Rickles, Wallace Shawn and Kristen Schaal. Carl Weathers joins the cast as Combat Carl and Combat Carl Jr.

ABC describes the event as, “What starts out as a fun road trip for the ‘Toy Story’ gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this ‘Toy Story OF TERROR!'”
