‘Tosh.0’ Renewed for Three Seasons by Comedy Central

Comedy Central has made a serious investment in Daniel Tosh, renewing the comedian’s viral video program “Tosh.0” for a whopping three seasons.

Renewal takes “Tosh.0″ through its eighth season, slated for 2016.

“We believe ‘Tosh.0’ has the potential to resonate with our audience,” said the cabler’s content and programming chief Kent Alterman. “We want to give it time to connect.”

“Tosh.0” is currently wrapping its fifth season and is the top entertainment series with men 18-24 on Tuesday nights, averaging 3 million total viewers.

Series is exec produced by Tosh along with Charlie Siskel and Christie Smith.
