‘Suits’ Renewed by USA for Season 4

Series creator Aaron Korsh has signed an overall deal with UCP as well

USA has renewed “Suits,” ordering 16 episodes of the drama for its fourth season.

The law firm-set drama ranked in the top five of TV’s primetime scripted series in adults 18-49 during third quarter this year, helping USA maintain its spot as the #1 cable network throughout Q3.

In addition to the season four renewal, “Suits” creator and showrunner Aaron Korsh has inked an overall with Universal Cable Prods. that will continue his work on the USA drama and allow him to develop new scripted series.

“As a leading cable drama, ‘Suits’ is at the top of its game and continues to grow in the key demographics, drawing a passionate, young and loyal audience,” said Chris McCumber, prez of the network. “Aaron Korsh consistently pushes the boundaries of storytelling and the series promises to deliver a provocative fourth season.”

“Suits” is currently in the middle of its third season run, and will roll out new season three episodes following the 2014 Olympics.
