Kristen Wiig to Host ‘SNL’ in May; Affleck, Kanye Set for Season Finale

Hosts include the return of former cast member Kristen Wiig

NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” has pulled out the big guns for its final three episodes this season.

Show has secured the following lineup for the season 38 closer:

May 4 – Zach Galifianakis, with musical guest Of Monsters and Men
May 11 – Kristen Wiig, with Vampire Weekend
May 18 – Ben Affleck, with Kanye West

SNL” drew strong ratings with repeat-host Justin Timberlake in March (broadcast outperformed Peacock’s primetime programs), but average numbers for April hosts like Vince Vaughn and Melissa McCarthy.

Wiig, a former “SNL” cast member, will mark her first time hosting the latenight show on May 11. She departed the program last May after logging over six years on the skein.
