Shed Media U.S. Hires Development Execs Dan Snook, Dave Kuba

Appointments arrive as Shed Media continues to ramp up its reality programming slate

Shed Media’s Stateside arm has tapped Dan Snook as senior veep of development and Dave Kuba VP of development. Pair will report to Pam Healey, g.m. at the reality studio.

Snook arrives at Shed from Firecracker Films, where he also served as senior veep of development, handling skeins including “Zombie Apocalypse” on Discovery Channel, and “Preachers’ Wives” on Lifetime. Snook has also worked in the executive ranks at Eyeworks USA.

Kuba transitions to Shed from High Noon Entertainment. Prior to his stint at High Noon, Kuba logged a decade as a freelance producer, working on programming for nets including Fox, NBC and VH1.

“Dan has always impressed me with his sharp instincts, intelligence and creativity,” Healey said.  “He has a proven track record with cable and broadcast networks, and this makes him a perfect match to run Shed U.S.’ development team.  Dave has an incredible mind for development and his enthusiasm for television is contagious.  I’m thrilled to expand the team with this top talent.”

Shed Media, which is majority-owned by Warner Bros. Intl. TV Production, boasts a crop of unscripted shows that includes Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York,” VH1’s “Basketball Wives” and Style Network’s forthcoming program “Styled to Rock.”
