“RightThisMinute,” a broadcast strip devoted to viral news of the web, has expanded its national reach to 85% of the country.
Syndie show has recently added markets including Portland, Pittsburgh, Nashville and San Antonio. With the program’s season three debut approaching, “RightThisMinute” now clears the top 30 syndication markets, with 147 stations overall banked as partners.
“With over 1,000 episodes under our belt, we couldn’t be more pleased with this market expansion going into our third season,” said Phil Alvidrez, “RightThisMinute’s” executive in charge of production. “We look forward to introducing ‘RightThisMinute’ and breaking the most captivating online videos, before they go viral, to a new set of viewers around the country.”
What’s more, “RightThisMinute” has been bumped up to more coveted timeslots (including the 4 p.m. hour) by certain stations impressed by the strip’s ratings performance.
