DirecTV is close to finalizing a deal with Momentum Television for a 1o-episode drama series from Neil LaBute for its Audience Network channel.

Half-hour drama dubbed “Full Circle” revolves around meetings between a rotating group of characters at a single restaurant. LaBute has penned all 10 half-hours. Production is targeted to begin in Los Angeles in June.

Series is described as being in the style of “La Ronde” with each seg consisting of a meeting between two characters in a restaurant. One character from each seg will continue on in the following seg.

Momentum TV, headed by Nick Hamm, is already in biz with Audience Network on its first original drama series, “Rogue,” which bowed earlier this month.

FremantleMedia Worldwide is said to be on board to handle international distribution of “Full Circle.”

LaBute, repped by ICM, has penned pilots for HBO and Showtime but is mostly known for his legit and film work.
