HBO is strengthening its relationship with Murray Miller, signing a two-year overall with the UTA-repped “Girls” producer.

Miller, who has served as co-exec producer on HBO’s “Girls,” has been promoted to exec producer on the Lena Dunham starrer as a part of the deal.

The pay TV company is also developing a half-hour comedy from Miller titled “Mr. Romance.” Project is based on Josh Bearman’s 2010 McSweeney’s article “The Only Muscle I Can’t Control: In Search of the Next Romance Novel Cover Man” and he will serve as exec producer.

Miller will co-write “Mr. Romance” with Casper Christensen. Mike White and David Bernad (“Enlightened”) will exec produce the comedy through their banner Rip Cord Prods.

In addition to his HBO credits, Miller’s TV resume includes co-exec producing Fox’s “American Dad” and co-producing “King of the Hill.”
