Judy Greer To Star with Faxon in FX Pilot

Actress will be female lead opposite Faxon

Judy Greer will be the female lead opposite Nat Faxon in the untitled FX comedy pilot from Andrew Gurland.

Greer and Faxon play wife and husband who get along great everywhere except the bedroom, leading to Greer’s character giving Faxon’s permission to take care of his needs elsewhere.

Greer had a key supporting role in “The Descendants,” for which Faxon shared an adapted screenplay Oscar. She has most recently appeared in the Netflix reboot of “Arrested Development,” while Faxon co-starred in recent Fox comedy “Ben and Kate.”

Gurland is writing and directing the pilot and exec producing with Paul Young and Peter Principato for FX Prods. Shooting will take place in Los Angeles during summer.
