Jon Cowan has signed a two-year overall deal with Twentieth Century Fox TV.
Deal with the “Crossing Jordan” and “Private Practice” alum includes a blind script deal with Fox that will lead into his overall, slated to begin next May. Cowan is currently exec producer on USA’s “Suits,” and the producer previously held an overall with NBC/Universal.
“We had a fantastic experience with him in our last two development cycles,” said 20th Century Fox TV chairman Gary Newman, “and every network is interested in his work. He has a truly unique and remarkable voice and he can write just about any genre, from procedurals to thrillers to character-driven shows.”
Cowan is repped by UTA, manager Larry Shuman and attorney Bob Myman.
