There’s a changing of the guard at “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” as “Daily Show” alum Josh Lieb is stepping in as producer while longtime Fallon scribe Amy Ozols bows out.

Lieb (pictured far right) had been with “Daily Show” since 2006, rising to exec producer. He recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue film and primetime TV projects, until Fallon came calling with the offer to join “Late Night” and transition to “The Tonight Show” in February.

The handover of the key producer’s post from Ozols and Lieb is said to be amicable as the two are friendly and Ozols is ready to move on after years in the latenight grind.

During his tenure on “Daily Show,” Lieb also exec produced the show’s “Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear” in Washington, D.C. in 2010.

Before that, Lieb was a co-exec producer on “The Simpsons” and “NewsRadio.” He’s also penned pilots for NBC, Fox and FX in recent years. In fact, Lieb worked with Fallon and Ozols on a comedy pilot he wrote with Nick Thune for NBC in 2012.
