ITV has forged ITV Studios U.S. Group following the company’s acquisition of unscripted shingles Gurney Prods., High Noon Entertainment and Thinkfactory Media. Group will be led by a team chaired by Paul Buccieri, prez and CEO of ITV Studios US Group and managing director of ITV Studios International.
Formation of the Group consolidates ITV’s crop of acquired companies under one team, and expands Buccieri’s role at ITV.
The strategic leadership team will also include Julie Meldal-Johnsen, exec veep of operations, who joins the team from ITV Studios’ international arm; Ivan Garel-Jones, exec veep of biz affairs, who joins from ITV Studios America; and Oliver De La Hoz, exec v.p. of finance, who joins ITV from PriceWaterhouse Coopers this month.
“Under Paul’s leadership we have continued to make great progress in building a strong international content business, an important part of ITV’s Transformation Plan,” said Kevin Lygo, managing director of ITV Studios. “The creation of this new Leadership Team will further underpin the momentum Paul has built as we continue to drive forward the expansion of the ITV Studios US Group.”
