HRTS Names New Officers, Expands Board of Directors

The Hollywood Radio and Television Society (HRTS) has added a fresh group of industry honchos to its officer ranks.

Bela Bajaria, exec veep of Universal TV, has been named president; CAA’s co-head of TV Adam Berkowitz is v.p.; Ian Moffitt, head of premium content at Machinima, is secretary; and City National Bank’s exec veep of entertainment Martha Henderson is treasurer.

HBO topper Michael Lombardo has joined the org’s board of directors, alongside Beth Roberts, exec vice prez of biz operations at NBCU Cable Entertainment Group, Philip D. Segal, CEO of Original Prods., Starz managing director Carmi Zlotnik, and Scott Hervey, shareholder at Weintraub Tobin.

Bajaria, the newly-instated prez of HRTS, said, “This role is a great honor and I’m very excited to continue working with HRTS and the entire, talented board of directors.  We are all energized and committed to making sure the year ahead is productive, stimulating and entertaining for HRTS members and the entire community. “
