LONDON — Entertainment One is set to expand its U.K. television footprint, signing a first-look television deal in Blighty with Eleven Film.

The pact sees eOne partnering with Eleven Film’s Jamie Campbell and Joel Wilson to develop scripted projects for exploitation in the U.K. and international markets. The deal sees eOne given exclusive first-look rights to all Eleven Film produced scripted television development and serving as deficit financier. eOne Television International will handle worldwide distribution, excluding the U.K., for all Eleven Film’s television projects, including its current slate.

Eleven Film is in advanced development on a number of drama projects commissioned by broadcasters the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky, with scripters including Jack Thorne, Fintan Ryan, Joshua St. Johnston, Paul Andrew Williams and Chris Dunlop.

“Eleven Film is a fresh and creative production company with truly innovative programming,” said Carrie Stein, exec vice prexy, global productions, eOne Television. “They have a strong commercial slate of projects that fit with eOne’s sensibilities.”

Peter Emerson, prexy of eOne Television International, recently relocated to eOne’s London office as part of the company’s 2012 expansion of eOne Television in the U.K. and Europe.
