Dylan McDermott added to ‘Hostages’

Actor cast alongside Toni Collette for CBS drama pilot

Dylan McDermott has been tabbed to co-star in the CBS pilot “Hostages.”

Drama from Warner Bros. TV and Jerry Bruckheimer was originally developed for Israeli audiences. Story involves a family caught in a political conspiracy that will change their lives.

McDermott, who recently starred in the FX miniseries “American Horror Story,” will play a FBI agent at the center of the conspiracy. Toni Collette was previously cast while several other roles have yet to be filled.

Pilot was written by Jeffrey Nachmanoff, who will also direct. He and Bruckheimer will exec produce, along with Jonathan Littman, Omri Givon, Rotem Shamir and Chayim Sharir.
