Single-cam project from CBS TV Studios is based on an Israeli format and was penned by Rottenberg and Zuritsky. Exec producers include Avi Nir, Ran Telem, Daniela London-Dekel and Dana Eden. Messing will also receive a co-exec producer credit on the project.
Messing currently stars on NBC’s “Smash.” Musical drama, however, has been moved to Saturday nights after poor ratings and is not expected to be renewed for a third season.
