CW’s ‘Cult’ loses Tuesday timeslot

After two low-rated episodes, CW midseason rookie “Cult” has been moved from Tuesdays to 9 p.m. Fridays, effective March 8.

The CW will air repeats of other CW shows in the 9 p.m. Tuesday slot that “Cult” occupied before drawing a 0.3 rating among viewers 18-49 and fewer than one million viewers overall in each of its first two episodes.

“Cult” stars Matt Davis, Jessica Lucas, Alona Tal and Robert Knepper and is exec produced by Rockne S. O’Bannon, Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage and Len Goldstein for Fake Empire and Rockne S. O’Bannon TV in association with Warner Bros. TV and CBS Television Studios.

In other scheduling news, Fox’s “Goodwin Games” will air Mondays at 8:30 p.m. beginning May 20, while ABC has slotted new gameshow “Bet on Your Baby,” co-produced by Electus and 5×5 Media, for Saturdays at 8 p.m. starting April 6.
