Comedy Central Renews ‘Inside Amy Schumer’

Frosh program has drawn solid returns from young male demos

Comedy Central has ordered a 10-episode second season of “Inside Amy Schumer” for 2014, it was announced today.

The freshman laffer debuted on April 30 and is the cabler’s highest-rated series preem for the year. Show performs well in its Tuesday 10:30 p.m. timeslot with adults 18-49, along with Comedy Central’s key demos, men 18-34 and men 18-24.

Show is currently in the middle of its first run, with the season finale slated for July 2.

“I am so proud of our show and ecstatic to work with these assholes again,” Amy Schumer quipped.

Inside Amy Schumer” was created by Schumer and Daniel Powell. Series is produced by Levity Entertainment’s Italy Reiss and Derek Van Pelt.
