Comedy Central has ordered a stand-up series from “WorkaholicsAdam Devine, and plans to debut the eight-episode first run this fall.

From Avalon TV, “Adam Devine’s House Party” will spotlight 24 of Devine’s favorite up-and-coming comedians. Show will combine stand-up with narrative sketches, and take place in Devine’s LA home where each week comedians hang and enjoy a house party.

“I don’t know how I convinced Comedy Central to give me another show, a Hollywood mansion and a paycheck for hanging out with my friends,” Devine quipped. “I hope they have a good lawyer and the fire department on speed dial.”

“Adam Devine’s House Party” is exec produced by Devine, Avalon’s Jon Thoday, Richard Allen-Turner, David Martin, Isaac Horne, and fellow “Workaholic” Kyle Newacheck. Newacheck will also serve as director.
