CBS has invested in Dana Stevens drama “Reckless” for the fall season, making the drama order total for the Eye three so far. On Sunday, the Eye also gave a series nod to comedy “Friends with Better Lives.”
Billed as a “sultry legal show,” “Reckless” takes place in Charleston, South Carolina where a Yankee litigator and a southern city attorney struggle to hide their intense attraction while clashing over a police sex scandal.
Cam Gigandet and Anna Wood are attached to star in the CBS TV Studios series.
Stevens penned the pilot and serves as co-exec producer. Ian Sander and Kim Moses are exec producing as well along with Catherine Hardwicke, who helmed “Reckless.”
“Friends” revolves around a group of 30-somethings who all think the others have it better. James Van Der Beek toplines the 20th Century Fox TV multi-cam half-hour penned by Dana Klein and helmed by James Burrows.
