CBS wrapped up Thursday with three comedy pilot orders, including a laffer from a “Sex and the City” producing pair and “Homeland” duo.

Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky, whose credits include “SATC” and “Smash,” have set a comedy project at the Eye based on an Israeli format. Single-cam comedy, from CBS TV Studios, centers on a married mom who struggles to balance family, work and life. Rottenberg and Zuritsky penned the pilot and will exec produce alongside Avi Nir and Ran Telem (“Homeland”) and Daniela London-Dekel and Dana Eden.

“Jacked Up” follows a beloved, retired baseball player who finds adjusting to retirement isn’t as easy as he thought it would be. “Friends” and “Will & Grace” vet Greg Malins wrote the project and will exec produce with Doug Robinson. Patrick Warburton will produce “Jacked Up” and topline the multi-cam comedy from Sony in association with Happy Madison and CBS TV Studios. (Warburton is repped by ICM.)

Finally, CBS ordered a pilot for an untitled project from Tad Quill. Laffer from Eye’s own studio follows a recently-widowed father who is raising his 12-year-old son while simultaneously jumping back into the dating pool. Quill wrote the pilot and will exec produce the multi-cam. His credits include “Scrubs” and “Spin City.”
