Brian Bradley, Steven Cragg Ink Overall Deal With Universal TV

Comedy scribes to develop laffers for the studio

Comedy writers Brian Bradley and Steven Cragg have inked a two-year overall deal with Universal TV slated to begin mid-June.

Pair most recently served as consulting producers on “Scrubs” and “Happy Endings.” They also worked on Fox’s “Mad TV.” Cragg was a writer for “Saturday Night Live” from 1998 till 2000.

Scribe duo previously had an overall deal at ABC Studios.

“Brian and Steven are experienced, talented showrunners and we look forward to making their next show through Universal TV,” said Bela Bajaria, Universal TV’s exec veep.

Bradley is repped by UTA and attorney David Matlof at Hirsch Wallerstein. Cragg is repped by Paradigm and Fred Toczek at Felker Toczek Gellman Suddleson.
