‘Breaking Bad’ Marathon to Air on AMC Leading Up to Series Finale

Breaking up is hard to do, especially when bidding adieu to the addictive yarn that is “Breaking Bad.”

To help cushion the blow leading up to the Sept. 29 series finale, network AMC will air a five-day marathon of all seasons of the cult-favorite series. Seasons one through four will air from 8 p.m. Sept. 25 to late Sept. 27. Season five will start at 11 p.m. Sept. 28 and run up to the series finale at 9 p.m. the following day.

Following the last ep, fans can discuss the show’s end (and their separation anxiety) with an expanded one-hour episode of Chris Hardwick’s recap program, “Talking Bad.” Special guests on the live program include series creator Vince Gilligan and cast members Aaron Paul, Jesse Plemmons, RJ Mitte, Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks. Comic  Jimmy Kimmel will also appear. “Low Winter Sun” will air after “Talking Bad” at 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 29 only.

Audiences can also participate in amc.com’s interactive “Breaking Bad Story Sync,” which includes polls, trivia questions and a live chat room.
