AMC has greenlit “King of Arms,” an unscripted series about the world of American arm wrestling from “Deadliest Catch” vets Matt Renner and Ethan Prochnik, and Dan Ilani.

“Arms” centers on five arm wrestling clubs as they hit the road and wager their rent money, reputations and even relationships in pursuit of victory.

AMC has ordered 10 episodes of the hourlong docuseries and will bow it in the first quarter next year. Show hails from Renner, Prochnik and Ilani’s Undertow Films.

Net has also renewed reality skein “Small Town Security” for a third season, slating it to air with season two of “Freakshow” during second quarter 2014. “Small Town Security” is produced by Left/Right Films, with Ken Druckerman and Banks Tarver exec producing.

“‘King of Arms,’ ‘Small Town Security’ and ‘Freakshow’ all take viewers inside worlds most have never seen, populated by unique and unforgettable characters,” said Joel Stillerman, exec VP of original programming, production and digital content. “We are looking forward to bringing these new and returning series to AMC viewers and are very excited to be working with Undertow Films on our new unscripted original, ‘King of Arms.'”
