AMC Networks and Anchor Bay Entertainment have inked a home entertainment distribution pact across AMC’s portfolio of cablers including AMC, IFC and Sundance Channel.

Partnership calls for Anchor Bay to distribute series from the network trio across the U.S. and Canada. DVD, Blu-ray and certain digital distribution deals are included in the pact, and Sundance’s “Rectify” and AMC’s “Low Winter Sun,” both of which have not debuted on their respective networks yet, will be the first releases.

Anchor Bay has already teamed with AMC in the past, serving as distribution partner for “The Walking Dead.”

“AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ has quickly become our best-selling TV-on-DVD title to-date,” said Anchor Bay chief Bill Clark. “AMC has been an exceptional partner over the last few years and we look forward to expanding our relationship.”
