The Wahlberg brothers will be the focus of one of A&E’s latest reality shows, with their signature Beantown twist.
“Wahlburgers” gives a behind-the-scenes look into a hamburger restaurant that Mark, Donnie and Paul Wahlberg set up in their hometown of Dorchester, MA. While Mark and Donnie have been in the public eye for decades, Paul — a chef and restaurateur — gets to shine as he takes on the challenge of running a burger joint that touts the family name.
Mark and Donnie’s original “entourage” — Johnny “Drama” Alves and Henry “Nacho” Laun — are also featured in the docuseries.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the entire Wahlberg family as they graciously lift the curtain to share this new side of their story,” said David McKillop, Executive Vice President and General Manager of A&E Network. “This series offers viewers a new take on the celebrity reality series showcasing one of America’s favorite families.”
“Wahlburgers” will debut on A&E on Jan. 22 at 10:30 p.m.
Show is produced by 44 Blue Prods. in association with Closest to the Hole Prods., Leverage Entertainment and Donnie D Prods. Mark Walhberg, Stephen Levinson and Donnie Wahlberg are exec producing along side Rasha Drachkovitch, Jym Buss, Lily Neumeyer and Devon Graham.
