Gaumont International Television, the French mini-major’s L.A.-based production and distribution studio, is staffing up its Los Angeles office with the appointment of three new execs.
Carol Trussell was tapped head of production; Adam Fishbach was appointed senior VP of creative affairs; and Mary Carol Bulger was named director of production administration.
Trussell, whose credits include “True Blood,” produced “Hannibal” for Gaumont and NBC. As head of production for GIT, she will oversee both “Hannibal” for NBC and “Hemlock Grove” for Netflix. Trussell will also oversee the production of Nicolas Winding Refn’s “Barbarella” that’s set to start lensing in early 2014.
Fishbach, who will be in charge of new series development, joins GIT from Chris Morgan Prods., where he served as VP and helped develop and sell such shows as “Big Thunder,” which went to pilot at ABC.
Bulger previously worked as production/distribution administrator at Exclusive Media Group.
Run by CEO Katie O’Connell, the thriving GIT recently announced a straight-to-series deal with Fox Broadcasting Company for the second seasons of both “Hannibal” and “Hemlock Grove.”
