Laughs, drinks and dances were shared at May 4’s Dancing for NED, a benefit hosted by “Twilight” scribe Melissa Rosenberg (pictured above, right) and TV writer-producer Dana Baratta (pictured above, left). Thesps Timothy Olyphant and Mike White, among others, were seen at the cocktail reception held at L.A’s Mark for Events, with proceeds going to Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer programs.

Dr. Beth Y. Karlan (pictured above, center) spoke of NED as an acronym for No Evidence of Disease but also as a message to live life to the fullest.

Baratta shared her personal experience with cancer during the night’s brief program. “Some were fooled by my fabulously ghetto wigs, but to me the world seemed to stop, but I’m proud to say that for almost a year now I have been dancing with NED,” she said to raucous applause.

“I apologize for being sweaty,” Rosenberg added, “but I told you all I was going to dance!” And that she did.
