Rupert Murdoch walked out of the Sun Valley Lodge in Idaho in good spirits on Tuesday, despite potentially being in hot water with the British Parliament.

Murdoch showed up to Sun Valley in a bright blue shirt and shook hands as he exited the lodge, where hundreds of media moguls are expected to show up for five days of Allen & Company-sponsored schmoozing. Not surprisingly, however, he declined to stand for questions with anxious reporters waiting outside.

Only hours before, news broke that Murdoch had agreed to reappear in front of parliament to answer questions about a secret tape on which he appears to admit to bribery at his tabloid papers.

The tape is the latest trouble for News Corp. as it continues to answer questions relating to a hacking scandal which broke two years ago.
