Bumble Ward, Tracy Bechtold Launch Hive Collective

Hive Collective to focus on entertainment, philanthropy

Veteran PR executive Bumble Ward has launched Hive Collective with philanthropy specialist Tracy Bechtold. The organization is aimed at servicing “the intersection of entertainment and philanthropy in Los Angeles.”

Ward most recently held the post of exec VP of publicity at 20th Century Fox and previously was principal of Bumble Ward & Associates. Bechtold is formerly exec director of Kidspace Children’s Museum in Pasadena and held exec slots at Burson/Marsteller and Bender/Helper.

Ward and Bechtold first teamed on representing Megan Chernin’s LA Fund for Public Education.

“Blogging and social media have been my passion for years, and combining those with traditional media relations to tell interesting, powerful and meaningful stories for clients will be the backbone of this firm,”  Ward said.

Hive Collective has recently opened an office in West Los Angeles.

Ward also served as an exec at PR firms Clein + White Public Relations and Marketing; Dennis Davidson & Associates; Andrea Jaffe & Associates and Clein + Feldman.
