Veteran Gotham legiter Jodi Schoenbrun Carter has hung out her own shingle, launching 1022m Management and Marketing, an outfit that aims to match old-school talent management to new-media branding.

The marketing arm looks to tap social media to craft a digital and mobile profile that will shape a creative’s personal brand, encompassing upcoming projects, social causes and charities. Management side, meanwhile, will provide the usual array of talent management and production services for creatives in film, TV and legit.

Carter strikes out on her own after starting her career as a general manager at Off Broadway nonprofits MCC Theater, Vineyard Theater and Signature Theater Company, during which time she worked on commercial Rialto transfers of Off Broadway titles including “Wit” and “Avenue Q.” She went on to become chief exec and CFO of Westport Country Playhouse, working alongside artistic directors Joanne Woodward and Annie Keefe, and most recently was associate general manager of Daryl Roth Prods., working on commercial outings including “Love, Loss and What I Wore” and “Vigil.” She also spent eight years as prexy of the Association of Non-Profit Theater Companies.

Based in New York, 1022launches with a group of clients that includes Eve Plumb and Kick Kennedy, among others.
