The Writers Guild of America has selected the JW Marriott at L.A. Live and the Edison Ballroom in New York City as the venues for its simultaneous Feb. 1 awards presentations.
The WGA also announced deadlines for submissions — Oct. 11 for TV, radio, new media and Paul Selvin scripts; and Nov. 25 for theatrical and documentary screenplays along with videogame witing.
The nominations will be announced Dec. 5 for TV, new media, radio, news, promotional writing and graphic animation. Screenplay nominees will be announced on Jan. 3, and videogame nominees will be disclosed on Jan. 9.

The WGA Awards date was set earlier this spring. Ceremonies will take place the day before the Winter Olympics start — and a month and a day before the Oscars on March 2.
