Will Ferrell’s ‘Anchorman 2’ Lands Newseum Gig

Exhbit to open Nov. 14

Ron Burgundy is heading for Washington, D.C., with the Newseum and Paramount Pictures partnering for “Anchorman: The Exhibit” that will launch Nov. 14.

The exhibit will include props, costumes and footage from 2004’s comedy “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.” It opens five weeks before the release of “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” and will run through Aug. 31, 2014.

The announcement included a quote from Burgundy: “I’m literally trapped in a glass case of emotion.”

Visitors will be able to participate in a TV spot at one of the Newseum’s “Be a TV Reporter” stations with Will Ferrell’s Burgundy character providing the intro.
