‘Horrible Bosses 2’ Sets ‘We’re the Millers’ Writers to Direct, Exec Produce

Sean Anders will direct and John Morris will exec produce the New Line comedy

New Line has tapped “We’re the Millers” scribes Sean Anders and John Morris to take on “Horrible Bosses 2.” Anders will direct, and Morris will exec produce pic.

The studio had been looking for a replacement director, since Seth Gordon fell out of the project due to scheduling conflicts. With the success of “We’re the Millers,’ which has already grossed more than $110 million domestically, New Line had been looking to stay in business with the duo.

Horrible Bosses” stars Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day are expected to return with Brett Ratner and Jay Stern producing. John Cheng and John Rickard are exec producing.

Anders and Morris are repped by CAA and Mosaic.
