Watch Zack Snyder’s Animated 75th Anniversary Superman Short

Short will air on Cartoon Network and be packaged with the 'Man of Steel' DVD and Blu-ray in November

As part of its year-long birthday bash celebrating Superman’s 75th anniversary, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. have released a two-minute animated short directed by Zack Snyder that examines the superhero’s various looks and adventures throughout the years, beginning with Action Comics #1, which made a rare appearance at San Diego Comic-Con this summer.

Snyder directed “Man of Steel” and is helming its Batman vs. Superman sequel, out in 2015. Both star Henry Cavill.

The short made its debut at New York Comic Con over the weekend, with DC and WB posting the film, produced by Warner Bros. Animation, online Tuesday. It airs on Cartoon Network on Oct. 16, and will be packaged with the “Man of Steel” DVD and Blu-ray in November.
