VIDEO: Disney Teases ‘Muppets Most Wanted’

Teaser gives first looks at co-stars Ty Burrell, Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais and cemos by Diddy, Salma Hayek and Ross Lynch

Disney’s Muppets are ready to move like Jagger.

The studio released the first teaser for “Muppets Most Wanted” that includes “Modern Family’s” Ty Burrell as an Interpol agent, Tina Fey as a Russian gulag officer and Ricky Gervais as the sidekick to Constantine, the world’s No. 1 criminal and dead ringer for Kermit. Teaser also reveals cameos by Diddy, Salma Hayek and Disney Channel’s Ross Lynch. Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger” also is featured.

James Bobin returns to direct the sequel, featuring music from songwriter Bret McKenzie. Nick Stoller penned the script.

Disney will release “Muppets Most Wanted” on March 21, 2014.

The Mouse House will release the original “Muppet Movie” as a 35th anniversary edition on DVD, Blu-ray and as a digital copy on Aug. 13.

Last month, Disney Channel release behind-the-scenes footage of “Teen Beach Movie” co-star Ross Lynch filming “Muppets Most Wanted.”

And Kermit and Miss Piggy also sent out a video to the Royal Baby.
