Romantic comedy shooting in New York City

Victoria Justice and Pierson Fode are starring in the title roles of indie romantic comedy “Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List.”

Kristin Hanggi is directing the film from an adaptation written by Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer. Producers are  Alexandra Milchan (“The Wolf of Wall Street”), Lesley Vogel, Emily Gerson Saines (“Temple Grandlin”), Hanggi and Bob Abramoff. Skip Klintworth is exec producing

Shooting has started in New York City. Story is based on the young adult novel of the same name from the duo of Rachel Cohn and David Levithan, who also wrote “Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist.”

The characters are incoming NYU freshmen and childhood neighbors, who have been in love with one another their whole lives. Their bond is tested when they both fall for the same guy.

Justice starred in “Fun Size” and the Nickelodeon series “Victorious” and “Zoey 101.” She’s also a recording artist. Fode starred in “Indigenous” and “Hello Ladies.”
