Peter Kujawski, exec VP of worldwide acquisitions for Universal Pictures, is expanding his role with the studio by also handling film acquisitions for Universal’s specialized film division, Focus Features.

The move is being made in order centralize and streamline Universal’s acquisitions efforts across the globe. He will continue to report to Universal Pictures Co-Chairman Donna Langley and work closely with David Kosse, Universal Pictures International Prexy, as well as Focus CEO James Schamus and President Andrew Karpen.

Kujawski came to U from Focus in 2011 and he has overseen for Universal the acquisition of international distrib rights to such films as “Zero Dark Thirty” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
