Toronto: Daniel Radcliffe’s ‘The F Word’ Nears Deal With CBS Films

Pact for US rights in $2.5 million range

CBS Films is saying “The F Word” and is in final talks to buy U.S. rights to the romantic comedy, three days after its premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.

The deal price is expected to reach the $2.5 million range.

Directed by Michael Dowse (“Goon”), “The F Word” stars Daniel Radcliffe as a medical school dropout and romantic who meets an animator, played by Zoe Kazan. The relationship clicks despite the fact that she is already living with her boyfriend, portrayed by Rafe Spall.

UTA is handling the “The F Word” deal. Producers are David Gross, Macdara Kelleher, Andre Rouleau.

Radcliffe’s “Horns” is also for sale at Toronto.
