New Trailer For Ridley Scott’s ‘The Counselor’ Highlights Cameron Diaz

Fox opening thriller on Oct. 25

Cameron Diaz provides an ominous tone in the new trailer for Ridley Scott’s “The Counselor,” offering such lines as “the slaughter to come is probably beyond our imagining.”

Fox released the new international trailer, which starts with Michael Fassbender and Penelope Cruz in bed together, on Tuesday.

The Counselor,” based on Cormac McCarthy’s novel, also stars Javier Bardem and Brad Pitt. It follows a lawyer (Fassbender) who finds himself in over his head when he decides to get into the drug business.

Fox is releasing the movie in the U.S. on Oct. 25.
