Relativity Media has hired veteran praiser Stacey Mooradian as exec VP of publicity.

She will report directly to Terry Curtin, president of theatrical marketing. Mooradian will be responsible for publicity campaigns for the slate, which includes “Paranoia” (opening Aug. 16), Luc Besson’s “The Family ( Sept. 20), Scott Cooper’s “Out of the Furnace” (Oct. 4), Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s “Don Jon” (Oct. 18) and its animated “Free Birds” (Nov. 1).

Mooradian has been working as a consultant and previously served as exec VP at Lionsgate, working on “The Expendables,” “Precious,” “The Lincoln Lawyer” and the “Saw” franchise. She was a VP for Miramax, where she worked on “Chicago” and both “Kill Bill” titles.

She began her career in publicity at MPRM.
