Paula Wagner to Produce 2013 Governors Awards

The event is being held on Nov. 16

Paula Wagner has been tapped to produce The Governor Awards which is being held on Nov. 16 at the Ray Dolby Ballroom.

It was recently announced that Angela Lansbury, Steve Martin and Piero Tosi will receive honorary Oscars from the Academy and that Angelina Jolie is receiving the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.

“Paula’s expertise, coupled with her love for film, makes her the ideal person to produce this special event,” said Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs. “She is certain to deliver an exciting and memorable evening for our honorees and guests.”

Wagner has produced or exec produced more than 20 pics, including the first three “Mission: Impossible” films, “Vanilla Sky,” “The Others” and “The Last Samurai.”
