Nolan in talks for ‘Interstellar’

Would direct WB, Paramount project from brother Jonathan's script

Christopher Nolan is in negotiations to direct his brother Jonathan Nolan’s script “Interstellar” for Paramount and Warner Bros., where Nolan’s Syncopy banner is based.

Steven Spielberg had been attached to direct the project back in 2007, though it has languished in development ever since.

Script has changed significantly from the incarnation that drew Spielberg’s interest.

Nolan and partner Emma Thomas will produce with Lynda Obst.
