Deal calls for Nerdist to help grow the Periods.Films brand while licensing a portfolio of new short films as well distributing exclusive content from their comedic short film library, which includes shorts with Penn Badgley, Grace Helbig, Willie Garson and Zachary Quinto.
The Periods titles are executive produced by Quinto’s production company Before The Door Pictures.
Oscilloscope Laboratories reached a deal in April for North American rights to the company’s “Breakup at a Wedding,” Quinaz’s debut feature, and set a June 18 release date for VOD and digital platforms.
