Michele Wolkoff has joined the Mark Gordon Co.  as exec VP of production in the  film division.

Wolkoff will report to Mark Gordon.  “Not only does she have tremendous skills and expertise across all aspects of film production, but she has a keen and gifted ability for recognizing great stories and shepherding them from script to screen,” he said.

Wolkoff has been president of development at Timur Bekmambetov’s Bazelevs, where she oversaw production and development of more than 20 projects including “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter,” along with directing business strategy and financial operations.

From 2003 to 2010, Wolkoff worked at Universal Pictures, where her last position was managing the studio’s relationship with international productions. Prior to that, she worked as director of international creative affairs, reporting to studio co-chairman David Linde.

Wolkoff supervised the development and production of “The Other Boleyn Girl” and “Sin Nombre.” She was also creative assistant to then-chairman Stacey Snider and a story editor at Mel Gibson’s Icon Prods.
