Mammo Media Launching With ‘Black Friday’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Production planned for late 2013

Newly minted production company Mammo Media is heading for “Black Friday,” acquiring John Sullivan’s action-thriller spec script.

Story revolves around a young man desperately trying to save his fiance when she’s kidnapped inside a mega-mall on the busiest shopping day of the year.

“It’s a tense, Hitchcockian thriller that just really spoke to us,” said Matt Moore, president of the banner. Mammo is seeking co-financing partners with the aim of starting production late this year.

Mammo Media and Sullivan are also working with Arcana Studios on “The Reaper,” a comic book that’s a modern-day take on the Grim Reaper mythology with assassins imbued with the power to kill by touch. The comic is expected to be released this summer.

Arcana has a partnership with Benderspink, which reps Sullivan.

Sullivan penned screenplays “Fear of the Dark,” “Rapid” and “Recoil.”

Unfortunately.” More mea [...]
