Linda Cardellini, Tim Robbins and Jennifer Jason Leigh Join Kristen Wiig Film (EXCLUSIVE)

Gary Sanchez and Bron Studios are producing

Kristen Wiig’s next film is gearing up as Linda Cardellini, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Tim Robbins have joined the cast of the Gary Sanchez and Bron Studios comedy “Welcome to Me.”

Shira Piven is directing from a script by Eliot Laurence.

The story follows a women who suffers from dissociative personality disorder and wins the lottery only to decide to spend her money on a cable access talk show about herself. The show reflects her larger-than-life personality and absolute obsession with wanting to be famous, even if it means alienating her friends and family in the process.

Wiig will also produce along with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Jessica Elbaum for Gary Sanchez and Aaron L. Gilbert and Marina Grasic for Bron Studios.

Cardellini, who is repped by ICM Partners and Mosaic, drew critical praise for her season-long arc in the most recent season of “Mad Men.” Robbins is repped by ICM Partners and can be seen next in “Thanks For Sharing.”

The CAA-repped Leigh can be seen next in “The Spectacular Now.”
