Warner Bros. Sets Joaquin Phoenix Pic ‘Her’ for Nov. 20

Adams, Johansson, Mara, Pratt also star in Jonze project

Warner Bros. will open Spike Jonze’s love story “Her,” starring Joaquin Phoenix, on Nov. 20 in limited release in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto with other cities to follow.

The Annapurna Pictures production also stars Amy Adams, Scarlett Johansson, Rooney Mara, Chris Pratt and Olivia Wilde.

Jonze is producing along with Vincent Landay and Megan Ellison. The story, scripted by Jonze, centers on a man falling in love with the operating system of his computer.

Jonze directed “Being John Malkovich,” “Adaptation” and “Where the Wild Things Are.”
