Jason Bateman, Tina Fey Comedy ‘This Is Where I Leave You’ Finds a Home

Warner sets Sept. 12 release date

Warner Bros. has found a home for “This Is Where I Leave You,” dating the dark comedy for next Sept. 12.

The film is directed and produced by Shawn Levy and stars Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Adam Driver, Jane Fonda, Rose Byrne and Kathryn Hahn.

Based on the Jonathan Tropper novel, story follows a dysfunctional and idiosyncratic family in which the father’s death forces four grown siblings to spend a week together in the house where they grew up for the first time in a decade. Paula Weinstein and Jeff Levine also produce via their Spring Creek banner.

“This Is Where” is the third title to land on Sept. 12, where Screen Gems has dated thriller “No Good Deed” and Universal has set comedy “Search Party.”
